Ojert Named to NEILA All-Academic Team

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – On Friday the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Teams, were announced featuring graduate student Jake Ojert (Doylestown, Pa.) from the University of Hartford. 

Ojert appeared in 12 games for the Hawks during his graduate season and served as a team captain for the second straight year. Jake totaled 15 goals and 15 assists to finish with 30 points. He also collected 35 ground balls and caused six turnovers. Ojert opened the year with a hat trick on February 14th against Wheaton College. After missing time due to injury, he made a significant return on April 26th against the University of New England, contributing five points in a 12-5 playoff victory. He matched his career-high with three assists on April 30th in the CNE semifinal against Wentworth and was named CNE Offensive Player of the Week on April 1st. 

Jake was one of the 344 student-athletes that were selected to the all-academic teams. Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
