Nine Hawks Named to CNE Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams

BEVERLY, Mass. - On Thursday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its men's lacrosse major award winners and all-conference teams with Hartford men's lacrosse seeing nine members selected. 

Junior Aidan Ezra (New Milford, Conn.) is the lone Hawk named 1st Team All-Conference after being selected as a 2nd Team All-Conference member last season. The junior captain registered 50 points on 29 goals and 21 assists. Aidan also picked up his 100th collegiate point in the 2026 season.

Five members from Hartford were awarded 2nd Team All-Conference honors in graduate student Nick DiDomizo (Cheshire, Conn.), senior Tobias Ballester (Westwood, N.J.), junior Michael Novotny (Cornwall, N.Y.), junior Colin Reilly (Southington, Conn.) and junior CJ Ledwick (Falmouth, Mass.).

DiDomizio had a stellar final year for Hartford in 2026 starting all 17 games. Nick, a two-year team captain ended the year with a team-high 24 caused turnovers to go with 22 ground balls with a lone goal in the CNE Quarterfinals. DiDomizio finishes his career ranked 4th in program history with 52 caused turnovers and is named to his second-consecutive second team honor. DiDomizio was also named the CNE Elite 21 Award Winner for having the hight GPA of any student-athlete competing in the postseason. 

Ballester gets his second all-conference selection for the Hawks after being named third team all-conference in 2025. Tobias ended his season with three goals, 18 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls the most by a defensive player. 

Novotny who was recently named the Hartford Male Athlete of the Year finished his season as the teams leading point scorer with 60 overall points on the season on 40 goals and 20 assists. Michael is another Hawk that rised into 2nd Team All-Conference honors after being a third team selection last season and added 24 grounders and eight caused turnovers in his junior season.

Reilly had a tremendous year for Hartford with 43 total goals and eight assists in his first season returning from injury. The Hartford Male Comeback Player of the Year found great success in his third year with the team being an CNE offensive player of the week selection and being named to two New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Team of the Weeks. 

Ledwick rounds out the Hawks named to the 2nd Team after successfully retaining the second team honors from 2025. Ledwick made 14 starts in 2026 with a 8-5 record. CJ stopped 124 shots with a 9.63 goals against average and a 51.2% save percentage. 

Sophomores Gavin Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) and Shaun Wright (Frederick, Md.) were both named 3rd Team All-Conference choices, making the all-conference choices for the first time in their careers. 

Pelletier totaled 34 points from a midfield position on 25 goals with nine assists. He played in all 17 games with 16 starts over his second year. 

Wright, the former CNE Rookie of the Year had a stellar sophomore season tallying 56 points on 18 goals and a conference-leading 38 assists. Shaun put up the second most assists in a single-season in program history just falling short to Brian LaMastro's 52 assist season in 2000. 

Junior Emil Johnson (Ellington, Conn.) rounded out the All-Conference selections being named to the Community Service Team. Johnson a transfer from Assumption University joined the Hawks in the fall and immediatley joined SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) where he has made an impact for the organization all year long. On the field Emil saw action in 16 games with a goal and 23 ground balls.
