WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Hartford Women's Cross Country team kicked off their 2025 season at the second annual University of Hartford Invitational at Keney Park. The Hawks would take home eighth place out of 14 teams.
Rapid Recap:
- Junior Sophia Rebenciuc (Southwick, Mass.) led the way for the Hawks placing 17th with a time of 11:58.7
- Sophomore Ella Stephenson (Ledyard, Conn.) would be the next to cross the line for the Hartford, coming in 30th place with a time of 12:37.3
- Next up for Hartford was freshman Maya Siegelman (Suffern, N.Y.) who came in 41st place with a time of 12:38.9
- Rounding things out for the Hawks senior Elizabeth White (Nashua, N.H.) and junior Annie Gilman (Lowell, Mass.) who placed 46th and 57th, with times of 12:47.1 and 13:18.1
