KEENE, N.H. — Hartford Women's Cross Country competed in the Women's Red Championship 6K at the Keene State College Invitational on Saturday, October 3rd. The Hawks would not place within this race as they did not have enough entries for today's race.

Hartford was led by freshman Gwendolyn Marenghi (Naugatuck, Conn.) who ran a personal best in her young career. She notched a time of 27:16.9 landing herself in 199th place in the Women's Red Championship 6K.

Freshman Meah Frani (Tolland, Conn.) additionally scored a personal best as she was next to cross the line for the Hawks as she followed closely behind with a 27:37.7 time and a 210th place finish. Freshman Olivia Crabtree (Bellport, N.Y.) was right behind Frank as she placed 218th and recorded a 28:18.1 finish.

Senior Bevin Montgomery-Gehrt (Leverett, Mass.) and junior Penelope Andreou (Bay Side, N.Y.) rounded out Hartford's top five. Montgomery-Gehrt ran a 29:29.8 and Andreou totaled a time of 31:19.2.
