LOWELL, Mass. The Hawks took part in the RiverHawk invitational hosted by UMass Lowell in a Track and Field event that spanned two days on Friday Feb, 6 abd Saturday Feb. 7th.
Rapid Recap:
- Junior Benjamin Vroeginday (Southington, Conn.) lead the Hawks in the 60M dash placing 82nd overall finishing with a time of 7:39 117.382.
- Following close behind sophomore Marlon Pierre (Baldwin, N.Y.) would place 87th overall with a final time of 7.42 147.420. Pierre would also place 15th in 60M hurdles.
- In the 200m dash freshman Jason Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished 43rd overall with a time of 22.89 14
- In the 400m dash junior Nick Simoneta (East Moriches, N.Y.) finished in 53rd place with a time of 55.84 3
- Junior Stephen Haney (Foxborough, Mass.) finished in 20th place with a time of 1:08.98 1 in the 500m run
- Junior Christopher Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) would place 2nd overall in long jump with a distance of 7.32M
- In triple jump sophomre Aidan Quee (Springfield, Mass.) would place 9th overall with a distance of 13.37M
- Sophomore Thomas Barriger (Wallingford, Conn.) placed 5th overall in Shot Put Open with a distance of 13.11M
