BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly track and field awards, with graduate student Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) being crowned Conference Athlete of the Week.
Pelletier came to play in the women's javelin throw event, taking first place by a large margin with her toss of 45.00 meter. Pelletier cleared the next closest athlete by over 12 meters, with second place posting a 32.59 meter toss.
Hartford Track and Field will be back in action on Friday, April 3rd as the Hawks host the annual Rage in the Cage Invitational at Grant Family Track and Field.

Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III Athletic Conference composed of 11 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region.
