NEW ORLEANS, La. - This afternoon, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region teams were released with five Hawks being named to the women's indoor track & field mid-east team.
To be named to the all-region team the top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
The Hawks making the team were sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) in 60 meter hurdles, junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) in high jump and pentathlon, freshman Emily Breau (Meriden, Conn.) in pentathlon, senior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) in weight throw and senior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) in weight throw and shot put.
