LOWELL, Mass. - On Friday, the University of Hartford women's indoor track & field team kicked off the outdoor season at the D'Amour Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell.

- Graduate student Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) returned to the javelin throw with a strong performance coming in 1st hitting a distance of 45.00 meters.
- Senior Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J. ) placed in second in the hammer throw at a distance of 44.49 meters.
- Senior Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) placed in second in the shot put hitting 12.14 meters.
- Sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) added a silver medal in the 100 meter hurdles at a time of 15.10. Junior Caroline Crocker (Bernardston, Mass.) followed right behind in third place at a 15.40 time.
- Junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) finished in third place in the long jump at 5.09 meters in her first action since the indoor national championships.
- Freshman Maeve McGinnis (Windsor Locks, Conn.) was third in the high jump at 1.55 meters.
- Freshman Emily Breau (Meriden, Conn.) finished off the top three scorers in third in the 400 meter dash at a time of 1:09.21.
