NEW ORLEANS, La. - On Monday afternoon, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2026 USTFCCCA Academic Awards with both Hartford track & field teams and six student-athletes featured.
The USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Athletes program recognizes the nation's top track & field athletes both inside and outside the classroom. In order to be included in the All- Academic Athletes, student athletes must have a grade point average of a 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period. They also must have either finished among the top 50 individuals on TFRRS or have competed as a member on the top 35 relay teams on TFRRs. For teams to be included in the All-Academic Teams, the cumulative GPA must be at least a 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent grading period.
The six student-athletes named as an All-Academic Athletes are junior
Caroline Crocker (Bernardston, Mass.), senior
Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.), sophomore
Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.), junior
Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.), graduate student
Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) and junior
Chris Hergott (Hamden, Conn.).
Additionally both the men's and women's track and field teams were announced as All-Academic Teams for the 2025-26 year. The men's team finished with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.40 while the women's team finished with a 3.65 cumulative grade-point average.
