WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Track & Field / Cross Country teams were announced with four members of the Hartford women's track & field featured.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® and Academic All-District® Teams program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. To be considered for inclusion on the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® cross country team you must be a top-50 individual performance at the 2025 NCAA regional competition. To be considered for inclusion on the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® track & field team you must be a top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor).
The four Hawks making the team was senior
Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.), sophomore
Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.), senior
Mariah Nichols and graduate student
Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.).
Pelletier is also up for nomination to be an Academic All-American which will be released in a couple of weeks.
DiPasquale was regionally ranked in two events in the indoor season coming in 2nd in the shot put (13.04 meters) and 5th in the weight throw (15.98 meters). Madison added three regional rankings in the outdoor season coming in 4th in shot put (12.51 meters), 4th in discus throw (40.97 meters) and 11th in hammer throw (45.02 meters).
Greene had a pair of regional rankings in indoor season coming in 4th in the 60 meter hurdles (8.98) and 43rd in the 200 meter dash (26.67). In outdoor Tamara was nationally ranked 27th with a 4th place regional ranking in the 100 meter hurdles (14.33). She added a 42nd regional ranking in the 200 meter dash (26.33).
Nichols finished the indoor season with a 23rd regional ranking in the pentathlon (1799). Mariah would add a 24th regional ranking in javelin at a distance of 30.10 meters.
Pelletier finished as the national champion in the outdoor javelin throw competition holding the regional and national ranking in the event at 46.61 meters.
