As a Junior (2009): Ran in five cross country meets in his first year with the Hawks … placed 69th overall at the Trinity Invitational with a time of 18:20.0 on the 5,000-meter course … was the 15th overall finisher with a season-best 8,000-meter time came at the Hartford Riverfront Festival (28:38.6) … competed at the America East Championship, posting a time of 20:41.70 on the 8,000-meter course for an 80th place finish … ran at the NCAA Northeast Regionals placing 242nd with a 10,000-meter time of 39:32.00.

Before Hartford: Transferred to Hartford after competing on the cross country and track and field teams at Alfred State College for two years … cross country team was a NJCAA Division III national competitor in 2007 and 2008, placing third in the 2008 season … an outdoor track and field NJCAA national competitor in 2007 and 2008 … a two-time regional runner-up in the 10,000-meter event in 2008 and 2009 … a two-time Half Marathon NJCAA national competitor in 2007 and 2008 … a four-year member of the cross country and outdoor track and field teams, and a five-year member of the indoor track and field team at Wallkill High School … was named the cross country MVP in 2006 … outdoor track and field team was the 2007 HMAL champions … also competed with the Nordic skiing squad for two years in high school.
