Ran in five meets in his first season with the cross country team … crossed the line in 17:58.0 at the Trinity Invitational, placing 43rd overall on the 5,000-meter course … secured a season-best 8,000-meter time of 28:24.7 while placing 21st at the Hartford Hawks Riverfront Festival … finished 149th in the JV race of the New England Championships (28:50.0) … named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Ran one year of cross country at A.I. Prince Technical High School … also a member of the high school indoor and outdoor track and field teams for three years … selected to the cross country all-conference team in 2008 … named the team’s most valuable player following the 2009 season … a two-time all-conference honoree in the 1000-meter run during the 2007-08 and 2008-09 indoor season … earned all-conference in the 800-meter run during the 2008 and 2009 outdoor seasons … a four-time all-state honoree in the 4x400-meter relay ... 4x400-meter relay squad took first at the New England Championship in 2009 … was named second team all-conference in the 1600-meter run during the 2008-09 indoor season, 2008 outdoor season and 2009 outdoor season … placed third in the 800-meter run at the Connecticut outdoor class S championships … received the Mark Snyder Athlete of the Year award.
