FRESHMAN (2011):

Competed in five meets in his first season with the Hawks… finished 55th with a 5k time of 19:05 in his first collegiate race at the Trinity Invitational… improved his 8,000-meter time in each of his four races at the distance… posted a time of 31:24 to finish 91st in the Ted Owen Invitational… crossed the finish line in 29:39 at the New England Championships… finished 30th in the JV race at the Pre-Conference Meet with a time of 29:17.9… notched a PR at the America East Championship, finishing the race in 28:50.26… named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

 

BEFORE HARTFORD:

Ran seven years of cross country and six years of track and field at the Iolani School … was crowned the ILH champion in the 3,000-meter race during the track and field season as a senior (9:21.95) … was the 1500-meter runner-up at the ILH that same seasons (4:12.47) … as a junior, ranked 20th overall at the cross country state championship finishing the three mile course in 17:23 … also played five seasons of high school soccer.
