2009-10 (As a Freshman):

INDOOR: Ran the distance events as a rookie … posted season-best finishes of 3:13.49 in the 1,000-meter event and 5:29.37 in the mile at the Vermont Duals … ran the 3000-meter event at the Dartmouth Invitational in 11:11.22 placing 13th overall … ran a leg of the 4x800-meter relay team that placed seventh at the America East Championship with a season-best time of 9:55.36 … also a member of the distance medley squad that posted an eighth place finish at the conference championship with a season-best time of 13:11.81.

OUTDOOR: Posted a season-best 1500-meter time of 5:05.16 at the Yale Invitational and ranked 26th … turned in a fourth place finish at the Holy Cross Quad Meet with a season-best time of 12:17.52 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase … placed 13th in the steeplechase at the America East Championship (12:53.59) … finished the 5,000-meter run in 20:14.39 at the RPI Invitational.

Before Hartford: A three-year member of the cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field teams at New Paltz High School … cross country team was three-time Section 9 champions (2005, 2006, 2008) … competed at the New York State Meet in 2005, 2006 and 2008 … named to the Mid Hudson Athletic League Third-Team in 2005 for cross country … garnered MHAL Cross Country First Team honors in 2006 and second team honors in 2008 … captained the track and field squads as a senior in 2009 … received the New Paltz High School All Sport Award in 2009 … was a Section 9 individual champion in the steeplechase in 2007 … a three-time scholar-athlete … has also participated in Nordic skiing for six years … a 2009 Nordic skiing Section 9 individual champion … a two-time junior nationals Nordic skiing qualifier … a recipient of the Sportsmanship Award for Nordic skiing.

Major: Enrolled in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, majoring in health sciences.
