AT HARTFORD
2026: Baran became an everyday outfielder for the Hawks in 2026 being one of two Hawks to start all 41 games. Katrina ended the year with a slash line of .364/.407/.445 (AVG/SLG/OBP) with a team-leading 31 runs scored. In her 118 at bats she notched 13 RBIs, three doubles and a triple while stealing 12 bases. Baran would lead the team with 15 multi-hit games for the Hawks. Defensively Katrina had 54 putouts with two assists and a fielding percentage of .949. Her best game would be on April 12th in game two against Nichols College, where she would go 2-for-3 with two runs a double and a RBI in a 7-5 Hartford win. Baran would add a 2-for-3 performance on May 5th in the CNE Playoffs against Wentworth to go with two runs scored and a RBI as the Hawks would advance to the second game. 

2025: Baran appeared in 26 games, making 13 starts during her freshman season.She posted a .245/.302/.322 (AVG/SLG/OBP) slash line. Over 53 at bats, she recorded 13 hits, including a double and a triple. She scored nine runs and tallied nine RBIs. Baran stole two bases this year and maintained a perfect fielding percentage recording 18 putouts. Baran was also named Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week on March 31st after batting .333 with one run scored, a double and a triple.
