AT HARTFORD
2026: Hernandez found an impactful role for the Hawks in her freshman season playing in 29 games while starting 24. Ariana would end the year slashing .250/.333/.338 (AVG/SLG/OBP) with seven RBIs, five doubles and two runs scored. Defensively the second baseman would have 46 putouts and 38 assists with a .966 fielding percentage. Hernandez collected her first collegiate hit on March 8th at Framingham State University in a Hawk win. Her first multi-hit game came on March 13th against Nebraska Wesleyan Unviersity going 2-for-2 in a 10-9 victory. Ariana's biggest moment of the season came on April 4th against Endicott College going 1-for-1 with a two RBI walk-off double as the Hawks defeated the Gulls. She would add a 2-for-4 performance on April 25th at Johnson & Wales University later in the season.
