AT HARTFORD
2026: Weaver became the everyday shortstop early on in the season for the Hawks starting 32 games and making 35 appearances. Alina ended the year slashing .392/.488/.559 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with three homers, eight doubles, 14 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Weaver would also steal 10 bags with a 1.047 OPS. Defensively she had 46 assists and 38 putouts. Weaver was also named to the CNE All-Conference 2nd Team in her first season and the CNE Rookie of the Year. Alina picked up her first collegiate hit on March 8th at Framingham State University with an RBI single in the Hawks win in game two. She was a two-time CNE Rookie of the Week on March 30th and April 20th. Weaver would have a special day on April 18th going 5-for-9 for at Suffolk University with her first collegiate home run, two RBIs and five runs scored. Alina added four more hits on April 22nd against Gordon College with another home run, a double, four runs scored and three RBIs. She added a 2-for-5 game against Johnson & Wales University with a homer, two ribbys and a run scored in the CNE Playoffs as the Hawks would advance to the CNE Semifinals on May 7th. Alina ended the year with the 3rd best single season in on base percentage (.488) and 4th in single-season hitting streak (15).
