AT HARTFORD
2026: Mayhood would make 24 appearances and 17 starts in her final season for the Hawks. She finished her senior year ranked 5th in program history in career strikeouts (260) and wins (28). Carly ended the year with a 8-9 overall record and an ERA of 4.86 and 84 strikeouts. In conference play, Mayhood went 5-3 with a 2.56 ERA and an opponent batting average of .209. She was later named to the CNE All-Conference 3rd Team and was a member of the All-Hawk Team for 2025-26. Carly opened the season strong going 5.0 innings for the Hawks on March 8th at Framingham State University with eight strikeouts while allowing just a single earned run. She added a dominant performance on March 25th at Curry College going five innings allowing just one run while punching out seven. Mayhood's most impressive performance of the season came on April 4th against Endicott throwing 139 pitches across eight innings with two runs allowed and six strikeouts in a walkoff win. After the performance, Mayhood was named the CNE Pitcher of the Week as well as a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top Performer of the Week. Mayhood would also later be named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. 

2025: Mayhood appeared in 20 games in her junior season, making 14 starts in the circle for the Hawks. The southpaw finished with a 2.73 ERA in 74.1 innings, with an overall record of 7-9. She hurled 72 strikeouts and allowed 46 runs on 83 hits, with an opposing batting average of .272. Carly best game of the season came on March 29th against Roger Williams tossing 6.1 innings allowing three runs with seven strikeouts in a win. Mayhood sits tied for 10th all-time in program history in wins (20), she also ranks 10th in career strikeouts (176), while being ranked 5th in opposing batting average (.257). 

2024: Mayhood made 18 appearances her sophomore season with 16 starts, tallying a 1.97 ERA, with 82 strikeouts in her 92.1 innings pitched. In the field Carly had three POs, 15 A, and a .947 FLD%. Mayhood was also named a NFCA All-American Scholar athlete in 2024.

2023: Appeared in 11 games with four starts in her freshman season, hurled 43 innings with a 3.91 ERA . Finished with 22 strikeouts, a  complete game shutout over five innings and four hits (St. Joseph's, 3/30) ... slashed .333/.404/.357 with one double and eight RBI.
