AT HARTFORD
2026: Miccio had a stellar senior season for the Hawks being one of two members to start all 41 games. The center fielder had a special end to her career slashing .381/.407/.548 (AVG/SLG/OBP) in her senior year with a homer, 12 doubles, three triples, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. On the base paths Miccio stole a program-record 20 bases this season in 21 attempts. She also managed to secure a program-record 19 game hit streak over the course of the season. Defensively, Miccio had 77 putouts only compiling one error in 2026. Gia was later named to the CNE All-Conference 1st Team the only member of the top team from the Hawks. Miccio's first special game of the season came on March 14th against Grinnell College going 2-for-3 with a double, triple and RBI with two runs scored. She had her best day of the season going 5-for-5 on April 22nd against Gordon to go with four RBIs and four runs scored. She would add a 2-for-3 game with a season-high four RBIs on April 26th against the University of New England in a playoff-clinching win. Miccio ends her career 4th in program history in batting average (.343), 10th in doubles (25), 7th in triples (7) and 3rd in stolen bases (42). 

2025: Miccio made 39 appearances in her junior season, starting in 36 games for the Hawks, slashing .309/.491/.377 (AVG/OBP/SLG). Gia would also finish the year with one homer, nine doubles, four triples, 34 hits, 15 swiped bags, and coming across to score 27 runs for Hartford in 110 at bats. Defensively Miccio finished with a .877 fielding percentage with 51 putouts and 42 assists. She would also be named a Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week on 3/25/25. Miccio's best game came on March 18th against Millikin going 2-for-4 with four RBIs, with two doubles and two runs scored. 

2024: Miccio made 32 starts in her 33 game played in her sophomore season, slashing .330/.360/.407 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with one home run, 18 RBI, four doubles, 24 runs, and seven stolen bases. In the field Gia completed 47 PO with 52 A, finishing the season with a FLD% of .846. 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduated from W.C. Mepham High School. 

AT PACE UNIVERSITY: Miccio was at Pace University for one season, missing the year due to injury.
