  • Was a guard on the basketball team and a pitcher and outfielder on the baseball team from 1955-59.
  • Served as co-captain of Hartford's first men's basketball team.
  • In basketball, scored a combined 473 points as a junior (14.9 PPG) and senior (12.8 PPG) to lead the team in scoring. 
  • Paced the Hawks in free throws shooting in 1957-58 (.752) and steals as a junior and senior.
  • In baseball, was co-captain as a senior. 
  • Named the University of Hartford's first baseball MVP in 1958.
  • Is a respected lecturer and publisher on the subject of mathematics and longtime professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania State University.
