  • A two-time Club Football All-American linebacker. 
  • Earned First-Team honors in 1970 and was a Second Team selection in 1969.
  • In three years of play for the scarlet and white, led the defense in tackles with 84 (1968), 67 (1969) and 86 (1970). 
  • Averaged 12.5 tackles per game in his career.
  • Intercepted five passes in 1970.
  • Led Hartford to a 16-3 record in three years.
  • Posted single game records of 13 unassisted tackles against Georgetown (1969) and Western New England (1970).
  • Wrestled for Hartford during the 1968 and 1969 seasons.
  • A biology major who studied in the School of Education.
  • Has enjoyed a long and successful career in optometry. 
  • Served as a visual consultant to both the United States Olympic Team (1979-2000) and the International Special Olympics Team (1984-2004).
