  • A coach and administrator who provided the University meritorious service for 23 years.
  • As the men's soccer coach, posted a 173-73-22 record from 1971-86 and guided the Hawks to eight postseason tournament appearances, including seven NCAA bids. 
  • Named New England Coach of the Year in 1979 and 1980.
  • Served as head coach of men's lacrosse (1979-84), men's golf (1975) and softball (1977), as well as assistant coach for men's basketball (1973-78).
  • Was a physical education instructor and participated in various national sport and internal committees.
  • Following his coaching career, served the University in an administrative capacity. 
  • Was the physical education director and later the associate director for sports development.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree from Springfield College ('65), a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts ('67) and an MBA from the University of Hartford ('84).
