WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Hartford men's tennis team continued its Fall dual-match schedule with three matches over four days. In that span, the Hawks hosted Boston University Thursday afternoon, hit the road to take on Fordham Saturday and came back to West Hartford to host Bryant Sunday.
The Hawks dropped their three results, 6-1 against the Terriers and 7-0 to both the Rams and Bulldogs.
On Thursday, junior
Jordan Badenko picked up the lone point for the Hawks playing from the No. 1 position. Badenko jumped out to a one-set lead against Boston University's Josh Friedman with a 6-2 victory in the first set. Badenko won the first game of the second set before Friedman retired due to injury.
Seniors
Marco Neves and
Josh Isaacson also leapt to one-set leads. Neves won the first set at No. 3 singles, 6-2, over Emilio Teran, but was unable to take the match, falling, 2-6, 6-2, 10-8. Isaacson outlasted Stefan Lemire in the first set of the No. 5 singles matchup, winning a tiebreak to take the set, 7-6. However, Lemire took the second set, 6-2, and the tiebreaking third set, 10-6.
At Fordham on Saturday, Isaacson led the Hawks, winning a total of six games at the No. 4 singles post before dropping a 6-2, 6-4 result.
Back home on Sunday, the Hawks picked up a win at No. 3 doubles, but could not muster a point against Bryant. The tandem of freshman

Bogdan Nedelcu picked up a win in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (7-4).
The Hartford men's tennis team wraps up its fall schedule October 26-28 in New Haven, Conn., for a tournament hosted by Yale.
