VESTAL, N.Y.—The University of Hartford men's and women's tennis teams traveled to the Binghamton University campus for matches against a pair of America East rivals in Binghamton and Stony Brook. The Hawks could not find the win column on the day as the men dropped a 4-0 result to Stony Brook and a 7-0 result to Binghamton while the women lost by 5-0 and 7-0 scores to the Seawolves and Bearcats, respectively.
 
Against the Seawolves, Jordan Badenko dropped his first set at the No. 1 singles position. However, the junior fought back in the second set to jump out to a 5-2 lead in the set before his match was suspended due to a team result being reached.
 
Badenko also kept it close in his doubles match against Stony Brook. Badenko teamed with Nicholas Sharwarko in the top spot to win seven games but ultimately fall by a score of 9-7. In doubles play against the Bearcats, Badenko and Sharwarko held a 5-4 lead in the No. 1 position before their match was suspended due to a conclusion being reached in the other two doubles matches.
 
On the women's side, sophomore Jessica Galik combined to win three games in her two matches at the No. 3 singles slot.
 
The Hawks' matches against Nutmeg State foe Sacred Heart, initially scheduled for the afternoon of Monday, April 8, have been rescheduled due to the President of the United States visiting the University of Hartford campus Monday. The matches against Sacred Heart will be played in West Hartford Monday, April 15.
