Box Score ALBANY, N.Y.  – Playing its final game of the 2015 campaign, the University of Hartford softball team dropped an 8-0 decision at Albany on Saturday afternoon. Hartford concludes the season with a 3-43 overall record and 0-17 mark in the America East while the Great Danes improve to 31-16 and 11-6 in conference games.
Devin Durando tossed a gem for the Great Danes, holding the Hawks to just three hits – a Danielle DeMarco single in the top of the first and a fourth-inning hit by sophomore Lexi Wilkerson – while issuing four walks and allowing one other batter to reach on a hit pitch. She improves to 14-5 on the season after striking out five in 4.0 innings. Erynn Sobieski worked the final inning where she walked two batters and conceded a base hit, but got out of the bases loaded jam.
The Great Danes used a four-run second inning before adding four more runs in the bottom of the fourth to score the win in five frames. Maggie Cocks, Kelly Costello and Kayla Broking each collected two RBI. Broking's two-run homer in the fourth made it a 6-0 contest before Cocks plated the final two runs on a base hit to centerfield to seal the game.
Wilkerson took the loss for the Hawks, recording one strikeout in four innings.
