The University of Hartford men's tennis team saw its final season come to a close on Friday at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, falling to No. 2 seed Southern Illinois, 5-0.

Jairus Baker, 6-1) while the No. 1 doubles units were engaged in a tight battle, with Jonny Rigby/Piotr Baransky leading

Luis Montes 4-3 when the doubles point was clinched.
SIU made it a 2-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-2 win from Baranski over Drumwright at No. 2, then moved to the brink of victory when Molloy topped Einstoss 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4. At No. 1, Rigby clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Rombola, and at nearly the same time Pimentel took a 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Molina at No. 3 to result in the final score.
Montes put up a strong battle at No. 5, falling 6-3 in the first set to Pozo, but leading 3-2 in the second when the match was clinched.
Harrison Max was trailing 1-6, 1-4 to Martinez at No. 6 as well when play wrapped up.
This marks the final season for the men's and women's tennis squads in Hawks history.
