Sierra Stone took home the accolades for the Hawks, receiving All-East Region Second Team distinction.
"Hayley and Sierra have represented themselves extremely well as student-athletes during their careers at Hartford," head coach
John Natale said. "They are great team players and have always put their team first. The University and the women's soccer program are very proud of what they have accomplished."
A captain in 2017, Nolan had another stellar season for the Hawks. Transitioning from the midfield to Hartford's back line in 2017, she started in each of the Hawks' 19 games this past season. A native of Kildare, Ireland, Nolan has earned All-Conference recognition from the America East in each of her three seasons, including First Team distinction this past season.
Stone made 19 starts in Hartford's midfield during her second season with the Hawks. The Hebron, Conn., native compiled career highs in goals (4) and points (14) and led the team with six assists.
Ranking among the America East's top-10 in points, points per game, assists and assists per game, Stone became the first America East women's soccer player since 2005 to win a positional Player of the Year honor (Midfielder of the Year) one season after earning Rookie of the Year honors. In addition, she was named to the All-Conference First Team and the All-Academic Team in 2017.
Hartford closed out the 2017 regular season with an 8-8-2 record before falling to eventual America East Champion Stony Brook in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament.
