FIRST KICK
Men's soccer begins a two-game homestand on Saturday, as Hartford hosts UNH during Hawktober Weekend. Kickoff between the Hawks and Wildcats is slated for 4 p.m. from Al-Marzook Field.

HARTFORD QUICK HITS

• Hartford dropped a 1-0 decision in overtime to UMBC last Saturday after junior goalkeeper Jimmy Slayton made four impressive saves in regulation play.
• The Hawks topped reigning America East Champion, UAlbany, on Saturday, Sept. 29, with a final score of 1-0. 
• Senior Xahne Reid leads the Hawks' offense in every offensive category, tallying nine points on three goals and three assists while adding 35 shots and 15 shots on goal. 
• Reid was ranked among the top 50 Division I men's soccer players in New England last Friday by the New England Soccer Journal.

SCOUTING UNH

• The Wildcats are off to a 2-2 start in conference play with an overall record of 8-3-1. 
• Most recently, UNH dropped a 1-0 decision to first-place Stony Brook last Saturday.
• In 2017, the Wildcats went 4-2-1 in America East play and 13-4-5 overall. UNH defeated Stony Brook with a 1-0 shutout in the AE Quarterfinals before dropping a 2-1 decision to UMass Lowell in the AE Semifinals. 
• Junior Antonio Colacci leads the Wildcats' offense with eight points on three goals and two assists. 

 
INSIDE THE SERIES: UNH LEADS, 18-14-5

• The Hawks and Wildcats have gone 1-1 in their last two matches with a 2-1 America East Quarterfinal victory for Hartford in 2016 and a 3-0 shutout for UNH in 2017. 
• UNH enters Saturday's match with an 18-14-5 advantage.

• UNH defeated Hartford in a 3-0 shutout after outshooting the Hawks 19-9.
• Current senior Xahne Reid and current sophomore Nyrik Antoine each led Hartford's offense with two shots apiece.
