Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn.– Hartford men's soccer tied UNH in double overtime on Saturday. The Hawks move to 1-3-1 in the America East (1-8-5) with the draw, while the Wildcats move to 2-2-1 (8-3-2).
HARTFORD 1, NEW HAMPSHIRE 1
- Sophomore Rasmus Karlsson put Hartford on the board in the second minute to give the Hawks an early lead. He scored off a cross from rookie Sergi Martinez from inside the box.
- UNH's Antonio Colacci scored early in the second half for the equalizer with an assist from Otto Sahlen.
- Junior Kelechi Akujobi made a huge block on the goal line in the 59th minute to keep the score tied at 1-1.
- Junior Jimmy Slayton had four saves on the game, including two in overtime.
- Karlsson, Martinez and Akujobi led Hartford's offense with three shots apiece.
