Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford men's soccer defeated reigning America East Champion, UAlbany, at home on Saturday with a final score of 1-0. The Hawks move to 1-1 in the America East (1-6-4) with the victory, while the Great Danes drop to 0-2 (3-7-0).

- Sophomore Rasmus Karlsson scored his first goal of the season in the 14th minute to give the Hawks an early lead.
- Karlsson kicked the ball from inside the six-yard box on a cross from senior Xahne Reid.
- The Great Danes had an 11-5 shot advantage over the Hawks, but couldn't put any of them into the back of the net.
- Junior Jimmy Slayton had a season-high seven saves on the game to help hold Hartford's lead.
- Reid led the Hawks' offense with three shots, putting one between the posts.
