MILFORD, Conn. — The Hartford women's golf team ended its fall season on a high note, taking home the team title at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic. Junior Maria Loza took second while rookie Lara Yeung placed third for the Hawks, who finished six strokes ahead of runner-up Brown.

TOURNAMENT NOTES & HARTFORD HIGHLIGHTS

• Loza, who entered Monday's round as the tournament leader after carding a 73, matched her best finish of the fall slate after combining for a 150 (73-77; +6)
• Her performance marks the fourth time in as many events that she leads the Hawks
• Yeung saved her best performance for last, as she combined for a season-best two-round score of 155 (78-77; +11) for third place
• Junior Brooke MacKinnon posted a season-best finish and made it three top-10 finishers for Hartford, as she tied for sixth with a 158 (75-83; +14)
• Senior Caitlin Maralack rounded out the Hawks' scorers, finishing within the top-15 (t-11th) with a 162 (78-84; +18)
• Sacred Heart's Kailee Welch took home the individual title after shooting a 149 (75-74; +5)
