FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Senior
Sam McNulty led the Hartford men's golf team at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate, hosted by Loyola College (Md.), earlier this week. McNulty tied for 37th place as the Hawks finished 11th overall.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
- McNulty combined for a three-round score of 8-over 224. Firing a 79 in the opening round, he finished the tournament strong with rounds of 73 and 72.
- Finishing behind McNulty in a tie for 44th was sophomore Eric Evans, who finished with a 10-over 226 (75-72-79).
- Sophomore Ryan Tomaso tied for 56th with a 17-over 233 (79-72-82), while junior Elias Gross came in a tie for 59th, carding a 19-over 235 (75-80-80).
- Competing as an individual, freshman Jared Winiarz, who fired a 74 in the opening round, finished tied for 59th (74-77-84).

The Hawks have a few weeks off before returning to the Sunshine State for the FAU Spring Break Championship. Held at Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Fla., the three-day event begins on Friday, March 29.
