WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford softball prepares for its final home America East series of the season, starting with a doubleheader Friday against Binghamton. First pitch of the three-game tilt is set for 12 p.m., with a ceremony for seniors Kylie Dazalla and Melissa Pereira taking place before game two.
 
FIRST PITCH
  • Winner of four of its last six games, Hartford enters the weekend after an 11-0 victory against Siena on Tuesday
  • With her seventh triple of the season in game two of the doubleheader against the Saints, sophomore Nicolette Barranger broke the program's single-season record
  • Barranger leads the America East in the category and is tied for third in Division I
  • Sophomore Danielle Rocheleau leads Hartford's offense, batting .444 with five home runs and 30 RBI
  • Rocheleau is second in the conference in batting average and tied for 12th in Division I
  • Hartford continues to be one of the top defensive teams in the conference this season, registering a .966 fielding percentage, which is No. 2 in the America East
