WEST HARTFORD – A program record 10 Hartford Softball players have been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as 2018-19 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes.
"I'm extremely proud of these student-athletes for excelling in the classroom at an elite level," said head coach
Angie Churchill. "They are all deserving of this honor, maintaining their excellence in the classroom while balancing our rigorous schedule. Our program takes pride in our 3.56 team GPA and these 10 athletes paved the way in the classroom."

To be recognized, an individual must own a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or better.
Hartford finished with its first 20-win season since 2013 and reached the America East Tournament for the first time since 2017. The Hawks will return 15 players next season.
