LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sophomore outfielder Danielle Rocheleau of the Hartford softball team was selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team, the organization recently announced.
 
Rocheleau becomes the first player in program history to earn NFCA All-Region honors. She took home Second Team distinction as one of 39 members between the three Mid-Atlantic teams. Rocheleau also earned America East All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team honors this past season.
 
An outfielder from Whitinsville, Mass., Rocheleau enjoyed a record-breaking campaign at the plate for the Hawks in 2019. Finishing the season with the second-highest batting average in the conference (.421), she shattered the program's single-season records in average, hits (67), RBI (36) and total bases (99). In addition, Rocheleau carried Hartford through conference play, leading the way with eight runs and eight RBI.
 
Rocheleau helped guide the Hawks to their first 20-win season since 2013, and thier first trip to the America East Tournament since 2017.
