WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Hartford women's golf team and head coach Pete Stankevich have announced the addition of three student-athletes to the 2019-20 roster. Teagan Devoe (Dallas, Texas), Hannah Drew (Keene, N.H.) and Lara Yeung (Moorpark, Calif.) are set to join the Hawks on the links this fall.
 
"Our three incoming freshmen on the women's team are all amazing students and terrific golfers, and I am looking forward to them having a big impact on our team this year," said Stankevich, who enters his sixth season at the helm of the women's golf team and 12th overall season at Hartford. "They all have extensive experience and success in tournament golf and I am confident that they will contribute right away and help elevate our program."
 
Biographical information on the first-year Hawks can be found below. Hartford is set to open the 2019-20 season in on Saturday, Sept. 14, when it heads to Hanover Country Club for the Dartmouth Invitational.

Prior to Hartford: A two-year member of the golf team at Montverde Academy … prior to Montverde Academy, attended the Westwood School and Hebron High School … posted four top-15 finishes in 2018-19, including a fifth-place finish at the 2019 IJGT Faldo Series George Championship and a fifth-place showing at the 2018 IJGT at Falcon's Fire. Prior to Hartford: A four-year member of the golf team at Keene High School … led the team to the NHIAA Girls State Championship … became the first girls' golf state individual champion in Keene High School history as a senior in 2018 … posted runner-up finishes as an individual at the golf state championship the two previous seasons … also played two years of tennis in high school and was a member of the cross country team for one season … took top-billing at the 2019 Elite Tour, held at Stow Acres … posted an individual victory at the NEPGA Junior Tour in May 2018 … given the Junior Tour's Eagle Girls Player of the Year award by the N.H. Prior to Hartford: A four-year member of the golf team at Moorpark High School … a four-time First Team All-Coastal Canyon League selection … a three-time Coastal Canyon Individual Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017 … advanced to the third round of the CIF-SCGA Girls Golf Southern California Championship as a senior in 2018 … became the first female golfer from Moorpark to advance to the CIF-SCGA Girls Golf Southern California Championship in 2017 … named the team's MVP on four occasions … a three-time All-Coastal Canyon League MVP … tied for third at the L.A. County Junior Golf Championships and took fourth at the AJGA Evian Senior Showcase in Las Vegas.
