During Megan Anderson's three years in a Hartford uniform, she has led the Hawks to their first America East Conference Tournament appearance since 1996 in 2018, and their first conference title match appearance since 1993 (North Atlantic Conference) in 2019. She is currently ranked fourth in Hartford's rally scoring record book in career assists with 2,473 and third in single-season assists with 1,157 in 2019. During her junior season, she led the America East in total assists (1,157) and service aces (47).

As a biology major in the College of Arts and Sciences, Anderson has earned Dean's List and President's List honors in each of her six semesters. She hopes to continue her education through medical school and eventually become a doctor. Anderson is a four-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), currently serving as President of Hartford's chapter and as the America East representative from Hartford.
