Madison Stabile | Women's Soccer | Rocky Hill, Conn.
In four seasons,
Madison Stabile helped lead the women's soccer team to a pair of America East Regular-Season Championships (2016, 2018) and two appearances in the championship game of the America East Tournament (2016, 2019). In 72 starts, she contributed to 23 shutouts during her career.
In the classroom, Stabile earned America East Academic Honor Roll distinction four times, including three nods to the Commissioner's Honor Roll. She will graduate with a degree in health science.
If you could relive one moment from your career as a Hartford Hawk, what would it be?
One moment I would like to relive as a Hartford Hawk is having the chance to go to the America East finals my senior year.
What was your favorite Hartford Athletics event that you attended as a fan, and why?
My favorite Hartford Athletics event that I attended as a fan was when the men's soccer team played at home on Hawktober Weekend because there was a mix of current and former Hartford players supporting them.
What passions do you hope to pursue after graduation?
I hope to pursue my doctorate in physical therapy after graduation.
What lessons will you take from your time at the University of Hartford?
Some lessons I will take from my time here at Hartford would have to be how to be a supportive teammate and working with others to succeed.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused the abrupt end to winter and spring sports for the 2019-20 academic year, as well as the cancelation of several end-of-the-year activities for all student-athletes.
