Anna Cronin has been integral to the success of the women's soccer program in her three years as a Hawk. The co-captain has contributed to 14 shutouts as a defenseman, leading the Hawks to an America East Regular Season Championship in 2018 and an appearance in the title match of the America East Championship in 2019. As a double major in health science and psychology, Cronin has earned Dean's List honors in six semesters as well as President's List honors in three. Her career goals include continued schooling in an advanced nursing program and graduate school to become an Advanced Practical Registered Nurse (APRN). The Sigma Alpha Phi Honors Society member has spent her undergraduate career working in both the Barney School of Business Dean's Office as a Student Assistant and at Hartford Hospital as a Patient Care Associate and a Newborn Screener.
Cronin's proudest moment as a Hawk came during the 2019 America East Championship. "All of these accomplishments showed our team's dedication and handwork throughout the years and it felt great to have our handwork pay off in the end," she recalled. "I was honored to help lead our team as a co-captain this past year and it was amazing to see our team work together and achieve such great accomplishments."
