Lara Yeung each paced the Hartford women's golf team at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational. The duo tied for 23rd to lead the Hawks to a sixth-place showing at the event, which was held at Great River Golf Club.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
- The Hawks shaved five strokes off of their first-round score to finish with a 643, 12 strokes ahead of LIU, the seventh-place finisher
- Sacred Heart landed a pair of top-two finishers, with Kailee Welch earning medalist honors with a 1-over 145
- Adam has paced the Hawks in each of their past three outings
- The rookie shot an 80 in the opening round and an 81 in Monday's round to finish with a 17-over 161
- Yeung, who carded a 77 (+5) on Monday, also finished with a 161
- Freshman Grace Farland was Hartford's next finisher (t-28th) with an 18-over 162
- Junior Hannah Drew tied for 32nd after combining for a 20-over 164
- Boston University won the team title by nine strokes with a team score of 603

Hartford concludes its 2021 fall slate next Monday (Oct. 25), when it heads to the St. John's Fall Invitational. The two-day event will be held at St. Andrews Country Club, in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
