Hawks Hit the Road for Monday Tilt at Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. — The Hartford men's soccer team hits the road for the first time in 2021 when it heads to Villanova for a Monday matinee. Kickoff from Higgins Soccer Complex is set for 4 p.m.

  • Hartford looks to remain undefeated on the 2021 campaign Monday against Villanova

  • Dominic Cyriacks netted the game-winning tally in the 27th minute before Seidu Shamsudeen tacked on a late insurance tally with 63 seconds remaining in the match
  • Carson Williams earned the shutout victory for the Wildcats, who conceded just five shots to the Broncs
  • Villanova is coming off a 2-8 mark in an 2020-21 abbreviated season, which was played in the spring
  • Williams logged the nation's highest save percentage (.849) and posted a 0.70 GAA in 2019, the Wildcats' last full fall season
  • That season, Villanova posted a 9-8-1 record, including a 2-6-1 mark in Big East games
