CANTON, Mass. — The Hartford women's golf team opened the 2021 fall season with a 13th place finish at the Boston College Intercollegiate, held at the Blue Hill Country Club. Freshman Lilly Moreau led the Hawks, shooting 242 (+26) over three rounds, finishing in 57th place.

TOURNAMENT NOTES & HARTFORD HIGHLIGHTS

• Yale took home the win with a team score of 884 (+20), edging Boston College (887; +23) by three strokes
• The Hawks took 13th place out of 15 competing teams
• Hartford had three golfers make their collegiate debut at the Boston College Intercollegiate in Madeline Adam, Grace Farland and Moreau
• Moreau was Hartford's highest finisher, placing in 57th over three rounds
• The freshman finished with a three-round score of 242 (80-83-79, +26)
• Adam tied for 59th with a score of 244 (84-76-84, +28)
• Adam birdied the 12th and 13th holes in her second round of play
• Junior Lara Yeung tied for 64th with a three-round score of 248 (82-88-78, +32)
• Junior Hannah Drew tied for 71st with a score of 252 (85-83-82, +36)
• Grace Farland (264; +48) and Teagan Devoe (269; +53) rounded out Hartford's golfers with an 83rd and 84th finish, respectively
