Madeline Adam tied for fifth while classmate
Lilly Moreau tied for eighth to lead the Hartford women's golf team to a second-place finish at the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational. The Hawks shot a combined 80-over (656) across the two rounds, finishing ahead of Fairfield and Holy Cross.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES
- Adam had the Hawks' best round of the tournament this afternoon, posting a five-over 77 in the second round
- She finished with a 13-over 157 to tie for fifth
- Moreau followed closely behind, posting a 16-over 160, tying for eighth
- Grace Farland rounded out the top three for the Hawks, posting a 23-over 167 to finish in 14th
- Lara Yeung, Sofia Rodas and Leslie Li also finished inside the top-25
- Yeung came in 18th after finishing with a 28-over 172, while Rodas and Li, who played as indivudals, tied for 19th and came in 25th respectively
- Rodas carded a 173 (+29) during the two-day event, while Li posted a 179 (+35)

Hartford plays its final spring tournament in preparation for the MAAC Championships, hosting the Hartford Gillette Ridge Invitational this weekend. The two-day event, which takes place at nearby Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield, Conn., is set to begin on Friday, April 15.
