Softball plays final home games of season

For the last time in their careers, the University of Hartford seniors and graduate students will lace up their cleats for a pair of games at the Hartford Softball Field as the Hawks host UAlbany Thursday.

Mara Sczecienski had her 17-game hitting streak come to an end over the weekend. However, she still has a 13-game hitting streak against Division I opponents. She is slashing .362/.371/.585 with seven doubles, one triple, four home runs, and a team-high 14 RBI.
Emily Coffey is ranked nationally in a pair of categories. She is 16th in on-base percentage (.536) and 19th in walks per game (.760).

She isn't the only power threat in the lineup as Marana Jimenez (7), Maddi Petrella (6) and Katie Falotico (4) have all gone yard.
Falotico is slashing .354/.401/.638 with 16 doubles, four triples, four home runs, and 36 RBI.
Wendi Hammond has thrown 136.2 of the team's 283.1 innings this season. She has a 3.02 ERA, allowing 59 earned runs with 103 strikeouts.
