For the remainder of the summer, the University of Hartford Athletics Communications team will be counting down the top 10 moments/performances of the 2022-23 season. Join us every Thursday as we highlight these accomplishments.
 
Sophomore Conor Convery shattering his own hammer throw school-record mark three times over a three-week span takes the number six spot on the top 10 moments/performances list of the 2022-23 season. 
 
The Port Jervis, N.Y., native surpassed his previous school-record mark of 49.29m at the UMass Lowell Invitational (March 26th) with 49.30m. Less than one week later, Convery would rewrite the record books, throwing 49.79m and taking home first place honors at the AIC Invitational (April 1st). Capping off his record-breaking outdoor campaign, Convery recorded a mark of 50.97m in the hammer throw at the UMass Commonwealth Invite (April 15th).
