For the remainder of the summer, the University of Hartford Athletics Communication team will be counting down the top 10 moments/performances of the 2022-23 season. Join us every Thursday as we highlight these accomplishments.
 
Coming in at number two is the women's volleyball team taking down Stonehill in five sets. Four Hartford hitters accumulated double-digit kills to propel the Hawks towards a comeback victory at home for the first win of the season. 
 
After falling behind 2-1 in sets, Hartford stormed its way back taking the fourth and fifth sets, 25-23 and 15-12, respectively. The Hawks scored nine of the last 12 points in the final set to secure the win. 
 
Lika Nkenchor and Kylee Connelly paved the way, leading the team with a combined 37 assists, while Greta De Gasper, Lindzi Thomas, Sara Gasparotto, and Uzezi Ijoma finished the match with double-digit kills.
