University of Hartford softball coach Mairin Dudek is pleased to announce a full 40-game schedule for the 2024 season, the program's first full Division III season.

"Our team is eager to start our new era in Division III softball and we put together a challenging schedule to begin to align ourselves with some of the best programs in our region," said Dudek. "We will be tested right away, with eight competitive games in Arizona and our first three northern opponents were 2023 NCAA Regional participants. With a core group of returners and a strong class of first-year players, I'm excited to watch this team compete this season."
 
After a road doubleheader on March 8 at Framingham State, the Hawks will trek to Arizona to play eight games over five days in the Tucson Invitational Games.
 
Upon the return and following a 12-day break, Hartford will host back-to-back home non-conference doubleheaders against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (March 23) and Simmons (March 24). The Hawks hosts its first Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent, Wentworth Institute of Technology on March 30.
 
In all, Hartford hosts eight doubleheaders, five against CCC foes. The Hawks travel for six doubleheaders, four against CCC opponents. Hartford also has single seven-inning road games against Saint Joseph (April 2) and Trinity (May 1).
 
Hartford returns 10 players from last season, including five starters. Graduate Mara Sczecienski highlights the list of returners after slashing .352/.360/.565 with a team-high seven doubles, two triples, four home runs, and a team-high 17 RBI.
