BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its fall weekly report with sophomore
Kathleen Brush (Weathersfield, Conn.) being named the women's soccer offensive player of the week.
Brush put together a four-goal week for the Hawks over two contests. In this past week's game against UMass Dartmouth, Brush had a pair of goals, one in the 43rd minute, and one in the 50th. Against Curry College, Brush scored two goals for the second-consecutive game to up her season total to six goals on the year.
"Exciting to see that Kathleen has been recognized for her efforts this past week", said head coach
John Natale. "She has been improving tremendously as the season is progressing. She will be counted on heavily as the season is winding down. I am hoping this recognition gives her the confidence she needs as we finish off the regular season."
Brush and the Hawks will have two more games this week traveling to Nichols College on Tuesday, before hosting the University of New England on Saturday.
