Post Game Press:
"Success in golf depends less on the strength of body more on strength of mind and character," junior
Julia Smith (Plainville, Conn.) quoted the famous Arnold Palmer as she was asked about her performance on Monday. Smith continued to say, "Today was a perfect example, the tournament tested us with the weather and the course itself. It was definitely a big mental game today. I had to just stay positive and have good rounds with the pairing partners we got. There were some shots that were not intended but walking forward and not letting it bother you makes all the difference throughout the rounds. Golf depends on trusting your decisions on the course and trusting your swing to lead you to success. I am happy to be leaving the season with a great finish, not just playing but also having amazing coaches that support and help us each weekend. I just want to say thank you to the University of Hartford athletic department and everyone that made this fall season happen. Can't wait for Spring 2025 season."
