WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – On Tuesday, the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams were released featuring four Hawks.
Graduate student
Imani Jenkins (Middletown, Conn.), junior
Lindsey Metcalfe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) and graduate student
Christina Stone (Glastonbury, Conn.) all were named to the All-Region II First Team, while sophomore
Kathleen Brush (Wethersfield, Conn.) was named to the All-Region II Second Team.
Jenkins continues to bring in the hardware, now being named to the All-Region First Team after being named the Conference of New England (CNE) Offensive Player of the Year, as well as being named to the CNE All-Conference First Team and the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Selection. Imani ended the year with 27 goals, 11 assists and six game-winners in 2024.
Metcalfe was also named to the All-Region First Team after being tabbed to the CNE Defensive Player of the Year as well as also being on the CNE All-Conference First Team and the CSC Academic All-District Selection. Lindsey finished the year with two goals and an assist, while also being a part of 13 shutouts defensively.
Stone was also named to the All-Region First Team after recently being named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Most Valuable Player for the tournament, CNE Scholar Athlete of the Year, CNE All-Conference First Team and the CSC Academic All-District Selection. Christina notched 10 goals, 25 assists and four game-winners for the Hawks in 2024.
Brush makes the All-Region Second Team after finishing the year on the CNE All-Conference Second Team. Kathleen ended 2024 with 13 goals to go with eight assists and a game-winner.
